Lodebar – I

I, Prince Kampular Kaine II writes this with my hands to all Medes and Persians, of all the things I have seen and experienced from infant to this day, making me your King.
Who would have thought that the one known as Kaine, my slave self was the very prince and only son of the Late Great king Kampular of Persia who was killed during the fierce unexpected battle that took place in the palace when the finest ten battalions Led by my Uncle Zokar, my mother’s brother went on a Northern expedition.

My Mother, Late Queen Mimah III had just given birth to me when this bloody coup kindled by my always-looking very innocent Father’s step brother began and my mother who was later killed had instructed her attendants; Kaft, Polus, Aartha and Folon to take me away to her mother’s kingdom, Medes on the other side of the highlands, west to our country which Lodebar happens to be in between.
Folon made it to Lodebar but never survived the poisonous arrow she was shut at the town square carrying Prince Kampular II now known and addressed as Slave Kaine without a knowledge of been a Prince. I was born with a mark on my back which only my grandmother can recognize but no royalty ever visits Lodebar.
