My parents went on a 2week mission trip and secondarily for church planting. They were both evangelists, Mr Albert Laolu Jesuferanmi and Mrs Gloria Jesuferanmi Albert.
You could also call them missionaries, have not seen anyone as devoted to the gospel as them.
They were mid-literates, Mom NCE holder, Dad OND holder. They both met in one of the village outreach dad had gone for.
Fast forward, I was born (Korewa, their one and only child) and they were ordained in Alpha and Omega International Ministries (Ibadan, Oyo State), a church they were introduced to by a fellow missionary they met in one of their trip to Ilorin.
Seems my birth was an open door for them. From a self-contained apartment, the church gifted them with a two bedroom flat in Ibadan. They gave them more platforms for village outreach, where they planted branches.
Pastor Akande Charles, the General Overseer’s son returned from the overseas and as at that time I was 9years. Any time my parents were going for evangelism, i would stay at the mission house but this time Pastor Akande (In charge of African missions) suggested I stayed with their only daughter and child – Temilola, as they were not always at home too and his wife, a Doctor and prolific Writer was always busy and had little or no time for the family.
My parents saw it as a big favour, only if they knew… Kore sighed as he reminisced.
We were age mates but I was like a toddler beside her, in mass, brain and carriage. I was clearly way out of her league.
In three days, I lost all my home training…. Their way of life made me feel like I was a prisoner in my parent’s abode.
Imagine a world where I didn’t have to observe morning or night devotion, as it didn’t matter to them. Parents’ prayer was enough, ministry work should cover right….?? No more “Rice on Sundays only” or “Garri every afternoon”.
Two weeks were like living in wonderland, I lost interest in having to read a Bible verse everyday. No work, no schedule, no parental supervision.
Temilola, their daughter was the teens coordinator in church but hormonal booster at home! Sweetest Angel when everyone’s around but the Devil’s bride when everyone’s away.
“Come and sleep in my room, I can’t stay alone, please”. The house help had quickly went home that evening to check on her sick mother and it was just us, not knowing it was a well-crafted plan.
Night came, my skin she caressed, my little city was defiled by both of them and I learnt what I was not aware of since I was born.
I became a master at it, all kinds of devil’s game, masturbation, online sex, oral sex, all kinds of sexual practices beyond our years.
We were good at it, half of the teens of the church were a part, even to other denominations we spread our tentacles and no single elder was aware except the house help who initiated Temilola, Aunty Sharon. Not even my Uncle, Doctor D.J who I always felt more closer to than my parents had an idea what was happening.
