 Stepping into the Unknown

Prosper Lee, also known as Eniola to his family, stood at the front of the school gate, his heart racing with excitement and a hint of nervousness. As the first son of the family, he felt a sense of responsibility to make his parents proud. His mother, who had always been his rock, had reminded him the previous night, “Eniola, you are the first to take this step, and we are counting on you to set a good example for your siblings.”

His father, Dadi, was hardly ever at home, but Prosper knew he was working hard to provide for the family. Despite his absence, Prosper felt his father’s expectations weighing on him. He wanted to make his father proud, too.

As he walked through the gates, Prosper thought about his family’s sacrifices. His mother had taken on extra work to ensure he had everything he needed for school, and his siblings, Taiwo and Kehinde, looked up to him with wide eyes, expecting him to lead the way.

Nofiu’s booming voice interrupted his thoughts, “Hey, Prosper! What’s up?” Prosper smiled, knowing that with friends like Nofiu and the support of his family, he could overcome any obstacle.

Uncovering clues

As Prosper and Nofiu explored the campus of Genius Elan School, they noticed a sense of excitement and respect whenever students mentioned “Mr. ID”. They soon discovered that Mr. Ayoade Olanrewaju Idowu, the proprietor of Genius Elan School, was the man behind the nickname.

In the assembly hall, Mr. ID addressed the students, “Welcome, young minds! I believe in each and every one of you. You are the future leaders, innovators, and game-changers. My goal is to help you unlock your potential and become the best versions of yourselves.”

But Mr. ID’s approach was unconventional. He wielded a cane, not just a symbol of authority but a tool to shape and change lives. He used it to gesture, to emphasize, and sometimes, to discipline. Prosper watched as Mr. ID deftly used his cane to guide a student’s hand, helping them perfect a difficult math problem.

Despite the cane, Mr. ID’s kindness and dedication shone through. He had assembled a team of certified teachers, including Mrs. Tope, Mr Samson, Mr Victor who were renowned for their exceptional teaching skills. Together, they provided quality education, support, and guidance to help students grow.

As the day ended, Prosper felt grateful to be part of the Genius Elan School community, led by someone as exceptional as Mr. ID. He knew that he was in good hands, and his high school journey was off to a great start.

The encounter of change

As they searched, they stumbled upon a surprising ally – Mr. Oluwadare, the school’s janitor. He had been watching them from afar, a knowing glint in his eye.

“Ah, you’re the ones searching for the treasure,” he said, his voice low and mysterious. “I’ve been waiting for you.”

Prosper and his friends exchanged curious glances. “Waiting for us?” Prosper asked. They had met exactly what the Head boy Dayo had told them they would see in order to encounter change,he stumbled in lost thought.

Mr. Oluwadare nodded. “Yes, I’ve been watching over this school for many years. I know its secrets, and I know where the treasure lies.”

He led them to a hidden room deep in the school’s basement, filled with ancient artifacts and mysterious symbols.

“This is it,” Mr. Oluwadare said, his eyes shining with excitement. “This is where the Change Makers’ legacy begins.”

As they explored the hidden room, they stumbled upon a mysterious pedestal with a small, intricately carved box. Suddenly, the box opened, revealing a complex puzzle.

“Ah, the Challenge of the Elements,” Mr. Oluwadare said, his eyes gleaming with excitement. “Solve this puzzle, and you shall unlock the next stage of your journey.”

The puzzle consisted of five elemental symbols: earth, air, fire, water, and aether (representing the unknown). They had to arrange the symbols in a specific order, but there was a catch – each symbol had a unique property that affected the others.

Just as they thought they had finally solved the puzzle, the symbols began to glow, and the room was filled with a blinding light. When the light faded, they found themselves in a secret laboratory hidden deep beneath the school.

A mysterious figure emerged from the shadows, dressed in a long, black coat with a mask covering their face.

“Welcome, young adventurers,” the figure echoed from the shadows. “I see you’ve passed the first test. But do you have what it takes to uncover the truth about the Change Makers’ legacy?”

As the mysterious figure spoke, Prosper noticed his friends exchanging nervous glances. Aminat took a step back, her eyes wide with apprehension. “I don’t like this,” she whispered.

But Nofiu’s curiosity got the better of him. “Wait, let’s hear what they have to say.”

The group faced a sudden challenge – “Survival of the Update.” They found themselves trapped in a deadly game, navigating treacherous platforms and facing obstacles. But they refused to give up, supporting each other through the toughest moments.

Finally, they overcame the final challenge and met the true leader of the Change Makers – Mr. Oluwadare. With the artifact in hand, they were inducted into the Change Makers’ society, tasked with using their skills and knowledge to create positive change in their community and beyond.

As Prosper walked through the front door, his mom looked up from cooking dinner, concern etched on her face. “Hey, sweetie, how was your day? You look exhausted.”

Prosper collapsed onto a chair, running his hands through his hair. “It was a long day, Mom. We found the treasure, but it was crazy. We had to solve puzzles and face

challenges…and then we met the leader of the Change Makers.”

His mom put down the spoon she was holding, her eyes wide with excitement. “The Change Makers? I’ve heard of them! They’re an organization for positive change aren’t they?”

Prosper nodded, relieved to finally share the truth with his mom. “Yeah, and we’re part of it now. We have to use our skills to make a difference in the world”, including both digital and critically.

His mom smiled, pride shining in her eyes. “That’s amazing, Prosper! I’m so proud of you. But I can see the stress in your eyes. Come here, let me give you a hug.”

Prosper stood up, embracing his mom warmly. “Thanks, Mom. Just talking to you makes me feel better.”

As they hugged, Prosper realized that he could always count on his mom to listen and support him, no matter what adventures lay ahead

Prosper and his friends had successfully balanced their academic performance with their Change Maker responsibilities, and had even outsmarted their rival group, the Shadow Agents. But as they entered their senior year, they

knew they had to take their skills to the next level.

The reality of change

On a sunny afternoon Mr. Oluwadare, their mentor, called them aside. “It’s time for you to learn the advanced skills of the Change Makers,” he said. “You’ll be learning about leadership, strategy, and innovation. Get ready to take your skills to the next level.”

The group was excited and nervous. They knew that this would be their toughest challenge yet, but they were ready to rise to the occasion.

As they began their advanced training, they were introduced to new mentors and coaches such as Mr Benjamin, Mrs rubby, Mrs Oyinkosolami, Mr David, Mr nimileye and Mr Daniel who taught them the latest techniques and strategies. They learned about design thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication.

But with the new skills came new challenges. They were given tougher missions and more complex problems to solve. They had to work together, use their creativity and resourcefulness, and think outside the box.

In one mission, they had to develop a sustainable solution for a local community facing environmental degradation. They worked tirelessly, using their skills and knowledge to come up with an innovative solution.

Their hard work paid off, and their solution was implemented by the community. The impact was immense, and the group felt a sense of pride and accomplishment.

As they continued their advanced training, they faced more challenges and obstacles. But they persevered, using their skills and teamwork to overcome them.

Finally, they were ready for their final mission. Mr. Oluwadare called them aside, his eyes shining with pride. “You’ve made it to the final level,” he said. “Your mission is to create a sustainable impact in your community. Use all the skills you’ve learned to make a difference.”

The group was determined to make a lasting impact. They brainstormed ideas, used their skills and knowledge, and worked tirelessly to create a sustainable solution.

And when they presented their solution to the community, the impact was immense. They had created a sustainable program that would benefit the community for years to come.

Mr. Oluwadare smiled, his eyes shining with pride. “You’ve done it,” he said. “You’ve become an ambassador of ChangeMakers. Your skills and knowledge will make a difference in the world.”

And with that, Prosper and his friends had completed their journey as Change Makers. They had learned the skills and values that would make impact on lives positively.

New Challenges

As they entered their final year of high school, Prosper and his friends faced new challenges. They had to balance their academic responsibilities with their Changemaker missions, which were becoming increasingly complex.

Prosper’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fatokun were proud of their son’s achievements but also concerned about the pressure he was under. “Prosper, you need to focus on your studies,” his mother said one day. “Your father and I want you to succeed in school, not just as a Change Maker.”

Prosper nodded, knowing his parents were right. He had to find a way to balance his responsibilities.

At school, the teachers were also noticing the pressure the Change Makers were under. Mr. Samson, the math teacher, pulled Prosper aside one day. “Prosper, I know you’re capable of great things, but don’t let your Change Maker work affect your schoolwork. You need to stay focused.”

Mrs. Tope, the English teacher, also offered her support. “Prosper, I’m happy to help you with your writing skills. Just let me know when you need assistance.”

Mr. Victor, the science teacher, was equally supportive. “Prosper, your scientific knowledge is impressive. Keep up the good work, and don’t hesitate to ask for help when you need it.”

And then there was Mr. ID who had inspired Prosper and his friends to become Change Makers in the first place. “Prosper, my boy, you have the potential to change the world. Don’t let anything get in your way.”

With the support of their teachers and parents, Prosper and his friends faced their new challenges head-on. They worked tirelessly on their Changemaker missions, using all the skills they had learned.

One day, Mr. Oluwadare called them aside with a serious look on his face. “I have a new mission for you,” he said. “A local business is struggling to stay afloat, and I need you to come up with a sustainable solution to save it.”

The group accepted the challenge and got to work. They conducted market research, analyzed financial data, and brainstormed ideas. After weeks of hard work, they presented their solution to the business owner, who was impressed with their proposal.

However, just as they thought they had succeeded, they faced a new obstacle. A rival business owner, who had been trying to acquire the struggling business, began to sabotage their efforts.

The group had to think fast and come up with a new plan to outsmart the rival owner. They worked tirelessly, using all the skills they had learned as Change Makers.

Finally, they succeeded in saving the business, and the owner was grateful for their help. The group had proven once again that they were capable of making a real difference in their community.

As they celebrated their victory, Prosper’s parents and teachers were proud of him and his friends. They knew that the Change Makers were destined for great things and to lay an impact on lives.

The Challenges of a Student

Prosper was a successful student, but he faced challenges like any other teenager. Social media was a big distraction, and he found himself spending hours scrolling through his feeds instead of focusing on his studies.

One day, his friend, Fawaz, posted a funny meme that made Prosper laugh. But as he continued to scroll, he saw a post from Princess, his crush, and he couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealousy. Why was Princess hanging out with another guy?

Prosper’s mind began to wander, and he started to compare his life to others on social media. He felt like he wasn’t good enough, that he wasn’t living up to his potential.

But then he remembered something his teacher, Mr. ID, had said. “Comparison is the thief of joy.” Prosper realized that he was letting social media get to him, and he needed to focus on his own life.

He decided to take a break from social media and focus on his studies. It wasn’t easy, but he persevered. He started to enjoy his classes again, and his grades began to improve.

But another challenge arose. Prosper’s friends were pressuring him to skip school and hang out. They would tease him, calling him a “nerd” for wanting to study.

Prosper was torn. He wanted to fit in with his friends, but he also knew that skipping school was not the right thing to do. He remembered what his parents had always told him. “Your education is the key to your future.”

With newfound determination, Prosper stood up to his friends. “I’m not skipping school,” he said. “I need to focus on my studies.”

His friends were surprised, but they eventually respected his decision. Prosper had learned to prioritize his education and stay true to himself.

The school play

Prosper had always been interested in the performing arts, and when he heard that the school was putting on a play, he knew he had to audition. His friends, Fawaz and Nofiu, encouraged him to go for it, and Prosper finally gathered the courage to sign up.

The audition was a nerve-wracking experience, but Prosper gave it his all. He recited a monologue from his favorite play, and to his surprise, he got a callback. He was cast in the lead role, and he couldn’t wait to start rehearsals.

As the days went by, Prosper threw himself into the production. He spent hours rehearsing his lines, practicing his stage presence, and perfecting his character’s motivations. His friends came to watch him rehearse, and they were all impressed by his talent.

But as the play’s opening night approached, Prosper started to feel the pressure. What if he forgot his lines? What if he tripped on stage? What if he failed in front of his entire school?

His friends noticed his anxiety and came around him. Fawaz gave him a pep talk, reminding him of all the hard work he had put in. Nofiu helped him run through his lines one last time, and Princess, his crush, even offered him some words of encouragement.

Finally, the night of the play arrived. Prosper’s heart was racing as he put on his costume and took his place on stage. The lights went up, and he began to speak his first lines.

To his surprise, everything went smoothly. He remembered his lines, hit his marks, and even got a few laughs from the audience. When the play ended, Prosper took his final bow to thunderous applause.

His friends rushed backstage to congratulate him, beaming with pride. “You did it, Prosper!” Fawaz exclaimed. “You were amazing!”

Prosper grinned, feeling a sense of accomplishment wash over him. He had faced his fears and come out on top and as he looked at his

friends, he smiled.

High School Drama

As Prosper basked in the glory of his successful play performance, he couldn’t help but notice the envy and jealousy that had begun to simmer among his peers.

Nofiu, his friend, was the first to notice the change in atmosphere. “Prosper, have you noticed how people are looking at you lately?” he asked one day as they walked down the hallway.

Prosper shrugged. “What do you mean?”

“I mean, they’re looking at you with envy,” Nofiu said bluntly. “You’re getting all the attention, and it’s making some people uncomfortable.”

Prosper hadn’t realized it, but as he thought about it, he started to notice the subtle changes in behavior. Demilade, who had always been friendly, was now barely speaking to him. Ikem, who had been a close friend, was suddenly distant. And Sirojudeen, who had always been a bit of a troublemaker, was now spreading rumors about Prosper’s supposed “diva behavior”.

Lekan and Moshood, two of the school’s most popular athletes, were also joining in on the hate train. They would often make snide comments about Prosper’s “nerdiness” and how he was only good for “pretending to be someone he’s not” on stage.

Prosper tried to brush it off, but it was hard to ignore the constant barrage of negativity. He started to doubt himself, wondering if he had indeed become too full of himself.

But Nofiu was having none of it. “Prosper, don’t let them get to you,” he said firmly. “You’re an amazing person, and your talent is genuine. Don’t let their jealousy bring you down.”

Prosper nodded, grateful for his friend’s support. He knew that Nofiu was right – he couldn’t let the haters bring him down. He had to keep shining, no matter what.

And so, he continued to excel in school, both on and off stage. He knew that his success was not just about him, but about all those who had supported him along the way.

Determination and Struggle

Prosper’s final year of high school had arrived, and with it came a mix of emotions. Excitement for the future, but also anxiety about the upcoming exams. Prosper was determined to study hard and make his parents proud, but he knew it wouldn’t be easy.

At home, his parents, Fatokun and Mrs. Fatokun, were struggling to make ends meet. Fatokun’s business had been hit hard by the economic downturn, and Mrs. Fatokun’s salary was barely enough to cover the family’s expenses. School fees were a significant burden, and Prosper knew that his parents were sacrificing a lot to keep him in school.

Despite the financial struggles, Prosper’s parents encouraged him to focus on his studies. “We will find a way to pay the fees, Prosper,” Fatokun said, his eyes filled with determination. “You just focus on your exams and make us proud.”

Prosper nodded, feeling a surge of motivation. He knew that his parents were sacrificing a lot for him, and he was determined to make it worth their while.

At school, Prosper’s friends were also facing their own struggles. Nofiu’s family had recently been facing some financial instability due to the economic situation and he was struggling to cope with the trauma. Demilade’s who is currently facing some setbacks and feeling lost in key subjects. Ikem’s family had been working multiple jobs to support him.

Despite their own struggles, Prosper’s friends rallied around him, offering words of encouragement and support. “Prosper, we believe in you,” Nofiu said, his eyes shining with conviction. “You can do this. We’ll support you every step of the way.”

Prosper felt a lump form in his throat as he looked at his friends. They were all going through tough times, but they were still finding ways to support each other. He knew that he couldn’t give up, not when his friends were counting on him.

With renewed determination, Prosper threw himself into his studies. He spent long hours in the library, pouring over his notes and textbooks. He asked his teachers for extra help, and he even hired a tutor to help him with his weakest subjects.

As the exams approached, Prosper felt a sense of calm wash over him. He knew that he had done everything he could, and that he was ready for whatever lay ahead.

On the day of the exams, Prosper’s parents came to school to wish him luck. Fatokun’s eyes were shining with pride, and Mrs. Fatokun’s face was filled with hope. “We are proud of you, Prosper,” Fatokun said, his voice filled with emotion. “You have worked hard, and you deserve to succeed.”

Prosper nodded, feeling a surge of gratitude towards his parents. He knew that they had sacrificed a lot for him, and he was determined to make it worth their while.

As he sat down to take his exams, Prosper felt a sense of determination and purpose. He knew that he was not just doing it for himself, but for his parents, his friends, and his community. He was determined to succeed, no matter what it took and also make a great impact in society.

The Unexpected Miracle

Prosper, Nofiu, Demilade, and Ikem had been struggling to make ends meet, both in their personal lives and in school. Despite their hard work and determination, it seemed like the odds were stacked against them. But little did they know, a miracle was just around the corner.

It started with a surprise announcement from the school principal, Mr. ID. “We have some extraordinary news to share with the student body,” he said, his voice filled with excitement. “An anonymous donor has given our school a significant scholarship grant, and we are thrilled to announce that four of our students will be receiving full-ride scholarships to pursue their higher education dreams!”

The school erupted in cheers and applause as Prosper, Nofiu, Demilade, and Ikem looked at each other in disbelief. Could it be true? Were they really going to receive scholarships?

As Mr. ID continued to speak, the students’ excitement turned to shock. “The scholarships will be awarded to Prosper Fatokun, Nofiu Suliamon, Demilade fadele, and Ikem Obianwu!”

The four friends looked at each other, their eyes filled with tears of joy. They had done it! They had worked hard and persevered, and now their dreams were within reach.

The school erupted in cheers and applause once again as Prosper, Nofiu, Demilade, and Ikem made their way to the stage to receive their awards. They were beaming with pride, their faces shining with happiness.

As they accepted their scholarships, they knew that their lives would never be the same. They had been given a second chance, a chance to pursue their dreams and make a better life for themselves and their families.

The news of the scholarships spread like wildfire, shaking the entire school. Students and teachers alike were inspired by the four friends’ determination and perseverance.

Prosper’s parents, Fatokun and Mrs. Fatokun, were overjoyed when they heard the news. “We are so proud of you, Prosper!” they exclaimed, hugging him tightly. “You deserve this and so much more!”

Nofiu’s family were also overjoyed by the news. “This is a miracle!” they exclaimed. “Nofiu, you have worked so hard, and now your dreams are within reach!”

Demilade’s parents were also thrilled by the news. “Demilade, we are so proud of you!” they said, hugging her tightly. “You have shown us that even in the toughest times, there is always hope!”

Ikem’s family, who had been working, were overjoyed by the news. “Ikem, you have worked so hard, and now your dreams are within reach!” they exclaimed.

As the four friends celebrated their scholarships, they knew that they would always be grateful for this unexpected miracle. They had been given a second chance.

The Last Advice

As the students of Class 2024 prepared to graduate, they were filled with a mix of emotions. Excitement for the future, but also sadness to leave behind the familiarity of their school and the people who had become like a second family to them.

On their last day of school, the students gathered in the auditorium for a farewell ceremony. Mr. Ayoade Olanrewaju Idowu, their beloved principal, stood on stage to give his final address.

“My dear students,” he began, his voice filled with emotion. “Today marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. As you go out into the world, I want to leave you with some final advice.”

He paused, surveying the room filled with young faces.

“Firstly, never stop learning. Education is a lifelong journey, and there is always more to discover. Secondly, be kind and compassionate to those around you. Treat others with respect and empathy, just as you would want them to treat you. Thirdly, never give up on your dreams. No matter how difficult the journey may seem, keep pushing forward. And lastly, always remember that your character is more important than your achievements. Be good, be honest, and be true to yourself.”

The students listened intently, absorbing every word. They knew that these were not just empty words, but wisdom gained from years of experience.

Next, Mr. Oluwadare, the school janitor, took the stage. “My dear students,” he said, his voice filled with warmth. “I may not have taught you in a classroom, but I have learned so much from watching you grow and learn. Remember that no matter what you achieve in life, it is the small acts of kindness and compassion that truly matter. Always be willing to lend a helping hand, and never forget where you came from.”

The students’ parents also had some final words of advice. “We are so proud of you, our dear children,” they said. “Remember that we will always be here to support you, no matter what. Never be afraid to ask for help, and always know that we love you unconditionally.”

Other teachers also took the stage, sharing their own words of wisdom and advice. The students listened attentively, knowing that these were the last words of guidance they would receive from their beloved teachers.

As the ceremony came to a close, the students hugged each other tightly, tears streaming down their faces. They knew that they would never forget this moment, this feeling of love and support that they had shared with each other.

And as they walked out of the auditorium, they knew that they were ready to face whatever the future held. They were ready to make their mark on the world, armed with the wisdom and love of their teachers, parents, and even the school janitor.
